The sci-fi elements of the story were extremely well thought out and left me feeling like this could have been as much a science fiction novel as a romance. Just know that One Last Stop left me feeling the way that any good Rom-Com does – both happy with the feeling, but loving the journey as well. The way that McQuiston wrote her characters, the slow burn of the reveal and the romance, and just the overall science-fictiony aspect of it will be hard to forget. It gave me a severe book hangover that was hard to overcome. What it did was make reading hard for a week or so. So, I figured I would use that time to really revel in how the book made me feel. I didn’t realize going into it that I had an ALC version of it, so when I finished it I was all ready to write and post my review only to find out that it wasn’t coming out for two more weeks.
